Lee Building

This 113 year old Heritage designated building was given new windows from the 2^nd through 7^th floors on three elevations. The commercial and residential spaces were occupied and active throughout the course of the project. Silex faced significant challenges during the removal of the original steel framed windows and re-installation of the new Aluminum and Wood framed windows. In spite of issues of wall construction and composition, we discovered during the process we were able to meet the Owners and the Heritage Commissions intent to maintain the integrity of the interior and exterior appearance of Vancouver’s first high rise.
