False Creek Elementary

This occupied, open area elementary school received a complete building envelope repair in rock dash stucco to match the original. All new windows were installed as well as a seismic upgrade to the gymnasium roof. A major challenge was the need to replace a 70 foot long laminated beam that spanned the entry foyer, hallway, a classroom and tied-in to the gymnasium wall framing. The entire project was completed without a single safety event involving the students, staff or community users.
